Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect when you shop with us, why we collect it, who we share it with and how you can ask us to change or delete it.

1. What this policy covers

Ayusensia Wellness Private Limited respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through ayusensiawellness.com, how we use it and the choices you have. It is framed to meet the Information Technology Act 2000 with the Sensitive Personal Data or Information Rules 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 read with the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules 2025.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number and order details, when you place an order, sign up for updates or contact us.
  • Payment information: collected and processed directly by our payment gateway, Razorpay. We do not receive or store your full card, UPI or banking credentials.
  • Refund details: where you are due a refund on a cash-on-delivery order, the bank or UPI details you give us so we can pay it.
  • Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device information and how you use the website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications: records of your correspondence with us by email, phone or WhatsApp, including for order support and returns.

3. Consent and how we use your information

We process your personal information with your consent, or where we need it to fulfil an order you have placed, or where the law requires us to keep it. You can withdraw consent for marketing at any time, and doing so does not affect orders already placed. We use your information to:

  • process and deliver your orders, including sharing what our courier partner needs;
  • answer enquiries and provide customer support;
  • send order updates, and, only with your consent, marketing messages you can opt out of at any time;
  • improve the website and our products;
  • meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and tracking

The website uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use the site. Cookies needed to run the cart and the checkout are always on, because the site does not work without them. For everything else, including analytics, you can accept or reject cookies when you first visit. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer, or through your browser settings.

5. Sharing of information

We share personal information only where it is needed, with:

  • our courier partner Delhivery, and any other logistics partner we use, to deliver your order;
  • our payment gateway, Razorpay, to process payment;
  • service providers who help us run the website, for example hosting and analytics providers, under confidentiality obligations;
  • regulators, law enforcement or courts, where the law requires it.

We do not share the products you have viewed or bought with advertising platforms.

6. Data security

We use reasonable security practices and procedures, including restricted access and secure storage, to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Personal data breaches

If a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you and report it to the Data Protection Board of India within the timelines set out in the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the Rules made under it. The notice will explain what happened, what information was involved and what you can do.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including order history for tax and accounting records, unless a longer period is required by law. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, complete it or delete it. You can also withdraw consent for marketing, and nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf if you are unable to. Write to us at ayusensiawellness@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days, subject to any legal requirement to keep certain records such as transaction records for tax purposes.

10. Health-related information

Some of our products relate to personal health. Information that could indicate a health condition, including what you have looked at or bought, is treated as sensitive personal data under the Sensitive Personal Data or Information Rules 2011. We limit who inside the company can see it to the people handling your order and your support requests, we do not use it to target advertising, and we do not share it with advertising platforms or social media platforms.

11. Children and personal data

The website is not aimed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where the law requires it, personal data of a person under 18 is processed only with verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian. We do not track children or direct advertising at them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Transfers outside India

Some of the service providers we use, for example hosting and analytics providers, may store or process information on servers outside India. Where that happens we require appropriate safeguards, and any transfer is made in line with section 16 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

13. Third-party links

The website links to third-party sites, including our Instagram and Facebook pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the most recent version.
